The central research goal of each new study is to develop a greater understanding of current and historic changes in biological and water resources as driven by climate. Current projects include:

This work is interdisciplinary and would not be possible without the collaboration of colleagues and their respective institutions. Research funding has largely been provided by 1) the U.S. Geological Survey's Western Mountain Initiative (WMI) and the Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NOROCK), 2) the National Science Foundation (NSF) Geospatial Sciences and Ecology programs, and 3) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
