Research Interests:
Broadly I am interested in the field of disease ecology. Currently, I am studying brucellosis in elk that utilize winter feedgrounds in Wyoming. I am investigating how supplemental feeding affects stress levels in elk, what factors influence stress levels, and how this may affect disease dynamics. Additionally I hope to use satellite imagery to explain how snow pack and forage availability drive elk migration to and from the feedgrounds and how this may affect brucellosis prevalence.
